1:05:48 - 1:06:45 So far my favorite reaction to this boss fight. I've seen now quite a lot as I simply love this boss' design, music, epicness. It quite resembles my feelings I had while experiencing this masterpiece. It also reminded me a bit to the good old days of Dark Souls where you had some kind of demons to fight instead of Human-like creatures.

Hey Julia, I see you have an interest in Incantations, Burn O Flame, is one of my favorite spells in the game, I've melted some of the hardest bosses in the DLC with it. You get it with Fire Giant remembrance, you can go defeat him in this playthrough. Then go get the Giants Seal, fully upgrade it, combine it with flame cracked tear and the faith boosting tear, Faithful/Flock canvas talisman for a super powerful Fire/Faith build. Fire Giant is now one of my favorite Elden Ring bosses in the whole game.

Great playthrough! I finished the game yesterday, then watched the final segment of your series, and was so confused... why didn't I get this ending? I looked it up and figured out that I need to let Moira handle the situation at the elevator. Not gonna lie, I was a bit disappointed by this branching point, and how it was presented. Claire is my girl since the original RE2 which I played in 2000. I just wanted her to be safe, so I just did the Claire prompt and... here we are, I guess. Anyways, the controls were clunky at times, but the dialogue and atmosphere both are great (I did not like RE Revelations 1's nautical setting, so I felt right at home here - although the lab segment was super short! Oh, and the dialogue is "great" in terms of RE standards 🙂), resulting in a good game and a nice overall experience. Can't wait to play RE7 and RE8 soon and then watch your playthroughs 😀

They messed something up badly with the Lion boss fight. Every other fight and area in the DLC runs without issues. That fight is the only place where the lag is absolutely terrible.

Loving Julia's playthrough as always, but I gotta say I feel like I'm playing a different game than most people. I'm breezing through this whole DLC and most bosses with a new character and the most basic strength + dex build, just swinging at them with Bloodhound's Fang +10. And I'm not trying to brag, on the contrary, I suck. And of course I use Mimic Tear for boss fights after a few solo attempts which I fail miserably. But after seeing all of the comments and reviews talking how hard the DLC it is, I just don't get it... I had a lot more trouble with the base game.

Messmer is my new favorite character in Elden Ring. His OST, his appearance, his lore, and that voice: Messmerizing. You can tell they spent so much time refining his design. I had high expectations for him and I was still amazed. I’ve been so compelled to look for items out in the Shadow Realm that tell me more about him. He’s what really sold this expansion for me.

That's why people call Rey a Mary Sue, because she does a lot of powerful force moves without any training because "she's just awesome" You being called a mary sue can be interpretted as a huge compliment, as you were playing very well for a first playthrough on grand master

Idk if you already fixed it, but let me tell you what's causing your performance issues. Google how to disable the Anti Cheat app, it tanks performace on any rig, on my 3070 ti, on a 4090, anything. You will have to play offline. The second thing I recommend is to limit the fps to 50 or maybe 55 (google it, it's easy). Oh, and max out the graphics, it makes no difference... except the grass, but you seem to have a good pc so don't worry about that.
